Restrictions on buses entering the Shirakawa-go the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory (village-run) for Shirakawa-go tours
The bus was not allowed to enter the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observation Deck from April 28, 2023 (Fri.). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but please either walk to the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observation Deck (approximately 10 to 15 minutes one way) or use the paid shuttle bus (200 yen one-way, payable locally) in front of the Wada House Tour Facility. In line with this, the free walking time in Shirakawa-go will be extended by about 30 minutes. No refunds will be made due to the change in itinerary.
